My name is Olanrewaju Mohammed Lawal, I am currently a Research Student at the Centre for Geo-Infomation Studies at the University of East London , Dagenham, London.

I was born on the 17th of October, 1977 at New-Bussa, Kwara State, Nigeria. I grew up in Ibadan, Oyo State and completed my primary at the Ibadan Municipal Goverment School, Apata, while my junior secondary education was at the Apata Community Grammar School, also at Apata. My senior secondary education was at the Wesley College of Science, Elekuro, Ibadan. And in Ocotber 1995 I gained admission into the University of Ibadan (Nigeria's Premier University) to study agriculture. I graduated with honours from the Department of Agronomy at the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry. My masters studies was successfully completed at the Institute of Soil Science and Land Evaluation, University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart Germany
